The (ABBBR) is the new ALAPAHA BLUE BLOOD BULLDOG REGISTRY for all alapaha dogs. We are dedicated to the alapaha, and register kennels, dogs and new litters.A fresh no nonsense approach. Join the club for info. forum etc.
Description
The (ABBBR) is a new registry for all alapaha dogs, a alternative to the other registrys out there who are one track minded. We are dedicated to the Alapaha, and are not a profit organisation. Our main interest is in the breed, and the future of the breed, not financial gain. We are just going over some legal matters and then the website, and code of ethics etc. will be set in place for new kennels, breeders and owners to see.
General information
The history of the Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog is vague, the breed is said to have been started in the 1800s by the Lane family in the Alapaha river region of Georgia. It was used on plantations as a utility dog, the lane family used the ARF to register their dogs.
The ABBA states that although Ms Lana Lou Lane was involved in the start of the breed, there were many others also. And that when Ms Lane was down to four dogs in total, she set about back breeding the breed, and used the leapord dog and bulldog crosses. Although this has not been proven. The main person who states this is Mr R. T. Coleman of Cattle Rustler Kennels. He is also the president of the ABBA so there are the two sides, the ARF/Ms Lane. And ABBA/Cattle Rustler Kennels.
There are "two" types of Alapaha Bulldog and this is well known, as in all breeds of dog you get different variations. There are the bully type, a touch smaller and well proportioned. And the more athletic, a little taller looking type. Both types are seen by ABBA, and ARF.
Mission
Our mission is to resolve the differences between (ABBA) and (ARF) and the whole Alapaha history, we are not taking any side as we believe both sides have there fair points. The history of the alapaha is very sketchy, and the new solution is a registry which registers both ABBA and ARF type dogs. And ABBA Reg. Dogs, and ARF Reg Dogs (Rules/Regs. Apply) Put the whole Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog breed under one roof. There will be regulations and rules but no silly, single money minded registry.
Awards
We will be holding award events at a later date.
Products
Registration Certificates, Pedigrees, Registered Kennel, Join the Club and also we have a forum. We will be stocking Alapaha products also at a later date, please let us know what you want.
